  • Dolores R. Graver of Dover died Thursday August 2, 2012 in Kent General Hospital. She was 82.


    Mrs. Graver was born August 2, 1930 in Mooresville, North Carolina to the late Eldon Romaine Bell and Bessie Welch Bell.

  • Dolores R. Graver of Dover died Thursday August 2, 2012 in Kent General Hospital. She was 82.
    Mrs. Graver was born August 2, 1930 in Mooresville, North Carolina to the late Eldon Romaine Bell and Bessie Welch Bell.
    She lived 30+ years of her adult life as a military wife and the last 35 years as a mother and housewife. She was a member of the Chocowinity Baptist Church in Chocowinity, NC and attended Calvary Assembly of God Church, Dover.
    In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Frankie Shinn and, Sylvia B. Kishel and Carol B. Walters and great grandson, Mickey.
    Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, James T. Graver, Sr. of Dover; six children; Terrence Lee Mackey and his wife Rose of Warren, OH., Marlene D. Dawson and her husband Jim of Oconomowoc, WI, Donna J. Buckner and her husband Jeff of Dover, DE, William Eugene Mackey and his wife Linda of San Diego, CA, Robert J Mackey and his wife Jennifer of Baltimore, MD, Pamela A. Maus and her husband Chris of Pittsburgh, PA; three step children, Joy T. Barber of Owasso, OK, James Graver, Jr. (Thom J. Nicklaus) and Jon T. Graver of Copper Hill, TN; daughters, and; sisters, Edna (Lib) B. Tedder of Timmonsville, SC, and  Lydia (Flick) Cannon of Wilmington, NC; brother, Jerry. Bell of Raleigh, NC; twenty seven grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
    Graveside services will be held in 11am, Tuesday August 7, 2012 Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE, 19701.
    In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to The Guideons International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0600, or your favorite charity.
