    Jessie was born August 9, 1936 in Tahoka, Texas to the late William T. Fisher and Mary Bell Whiddon Fisher.

    Jessie was born August 9, 1936 in Tahoka, Texas to the late William T. Fisher and Mary Bell Whiddon Fisher.
    Vietnam Veteran retired Aircrew Flight Engineer Technician on March 1, 1988 was ordered back to duty on Sept. 3, 1990 in support of Desert Shield/ Desert Storm assignments included, Dyess AFB, Texas, Langley AFB, Va., Richard-Gebaur AFB, Mo, Pope AFB, N.C. Warner Robbins AFB, Ga. CCK Thailand Dover AFB, De.
    Jessie’s interests included following the Nascar circuit and in his younger years refurbishing and repairing Ford Torino’s. He also enjoyed Thursday morning breakfast with his military friends at the “diner”.  Jessie’s greatest passion was flying airplanes.
    In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his former wife, Evelyn Swafford Fisher, 1998, granddaughter, Rachel Scarpa, 2010 and stepson, James T. Conlogue, Jr.
    He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Ann Conlogue Fisher of Dover; sons, Jessie J. Fisher, Jr. and wife Marli of Winston, GA, Melvin Fisher of Bossier City, LA and his girlfriend, Cindy Sprout; daughters, Sandra Marie Whisenant of Dallas, TX, Brenda K. Heming and her husband Gary Hunter of Techachapi, CA, Cathy Fisher of Bossier City, LA; brothers, Bobby Fisher, Johnny Fisher and Douglas Fisher all of TX; sister, Elizabeth Rinehart (Libby) of Lindale, TX; step children,  Philip Conlogue and his fiancé Toni Piscorik  of Venice, Florida, Linda Keyser of Dover, Delaware and Deborah Miller of Ponte Vedra, Florida; sixteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held 11am Monday, July 30, 2012 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call from 7-9 Sunday evening. Interment will be at Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
