Delaware Technical Community College will host New Student Welcome sessions at campuses statewide in August to provide entering students with essential information about the College’s programs, activities, and services.


Delaware Technical Community College will host New Student Welcome sessions at campuses statewide in August to provide entering students with essential information about the College’s programs, activities, and services.

Students will have the opportunity to meet Delaware Tech’s president, Dr. Orlando J. George, Jr., as well as fellow students, academic counselors and faculty members.

The day will also include campus tours, refreshments, academic department visits and sessions for parents and family members.

The schedule for the sessions is as follows:

Stanton Campus, Newark, DE, Wednesday, August 15, 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., Conference Center Wilmington Campus, Wilmington, DE, Wednesday, August 15, 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m., Conference Center Terry Campus, Dover, DE, Thursday, August 16, Two Sessions – 8:45 a.m. – 11: a.m. or 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., Education & Technology Building Owens Campus, Georgetown, DE, Thursday, August 16, 8:00 a.m. – 1: p.m., Theater, Arts & Science Center
