  • Marion Stubbs, 92, Dover, passed away peacefully Thursday July 05, 2012 at Cadia Rehabilitation Capitol Healthcare Center in Dover, surrounded by her loving family.


    Ms. Stubbs was born in Pennsylvania on January 23, 1920 the daughter of George and Elsie Langrell. Later the family moved to Smyrna DE. In 1938 she married Archie Stubbs and moved to Dover.

  • Marion Stubbs, 92, Dover, passed away peacefully Thursday July 05, 2012 at Cadia Rehabilitation Capitol Healthcare Center in Dover, surrounded by her loving family.
    Ms. Stubbs was born in Pennsylvania on January 23, 1920 the daughter of George and Elsie Langrell. Later the family moved to Smyrna DE. In 1938 she married Archie Stubbs and moved to Dover.
    She was a home maker who enjoyed gardening and occasional trips to the shores to walk the boardwalk and shop. Later in life she moved back to Smyrna to care for her mother she resided in Smyrna until 2002 when she became a resident of Capitol Healthcare in Dover. The family would like to thank the staff and Delaware Hospice for their exceptional care they provided during that time. She is preceded in death by her husband Archie Stubbs, brother George W. Langrell, sister Hester Corter and great-granddaughter Courtney Wyatt.
    She is survived by her Daughter and son in law, Gloria and Matthew Ivory, Sr. of Dover, DE.  grandson and his wife, Matt and Stephanie Ivory, granddaughter and her husband, Cheryl and Louis Wyatt, 3 great-grandchildren, Tyler Wyatt, Colby Wyatt, McKenzie Ivory all of Harrington, DE, and several nieces & nephews.
    Remembrance Services will be held Tuesday at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, DE Burial will be at the Mt. Olive Cem. Sandtown, DE.
    Friends may call one hour before the time of the services at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover.
