Adam Jones and Molly Moorman top Freedom 5K

Adam Jones and Molly Moorman had the fastest times at this year’s Freedom 5K Run/Walk on July 7.

Jones led the male category with a time of 18:39, while Moorman topped the female group at 23:05.

The event, which featured participants of all ages, drew nearly 70 runners and walkers to Silver Lake Park in Dover.

Winners in each age bracket are listed below.

14 & under:  Autumn Russell, 28:56.

15-19: Casey Collier, 28:47.

20-29: Males: Steven Wheeler, 20:02. Females: Alex Polise, 24:57.

30-39: Males: Rick Short, 21:17. Females: Kristi Galloway, 31:49.

40-49: Males: James Gooch, Jr., 30:58. Females: Kathryn Howard, 30:37.

50-59: Males: Jack Coll, 24:20. Females: Debbie Polise, 32:54.

60-69: Males: Frank Whittington, 21:39. Females: Betty Link, 41:20.

70 & over: Jim Lyons, 42:56.

Walkers: Males: Brad Lane, 36: 47. Females: Catherine Dryden, 40:59.
