DSU will host a Chinese New Year celebration at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, in the Education & Humanities Theatre on campus. The event is free and open to the public.


The Delaware State University Chinese Students and Scholars Association (DSUCSSA) will host a celebration of the traditional Chinese Lunar New Year at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, in the Education & Humanities Theatre on the DSU campus.

The event is free and open to the public.

The celebration will be spiritual fiesta performance that will include traditional plays, classical Chinese music, as well as mixed choir and folk dances, all representing Chinese traditional arts. The performers will be DSUCCSA member and other local people from the Chinese community.

The annual celebration is designed to enhance multi-cultural interaction and promote an appreciation of traditional Chinese performing arts.
