In the month of January, the Regional Planning Commission and Levy Court will hear planning applications for a commercial business and plumbing supply establishment, north of Milford, as well as a heating, ventilating and cooling sales firm, north of Dover.


The Regional Planning Commission will receive public testimony on the following applications at its public hearings at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5:

Hotel America requests a comprehensive plan map amendment for 3.5 acres from low density residential to commercial and a zoning map amendment from agricultural residential general business inside the Growth Zone Overlay District on the west end of Keller Avenue, north of Milford.
  the F. J. Webb Family requests conditional use approval of a plumbing supply establishment with outdoor storage on 2.4 acres outside the Growth Zone Overlay District on the east side of Bay Road, north of Milford.
  Blue Hen Properties requests conditional use approval of a heating, ventilating and cooling sales firm on 2 acres inside the Growth Zone Overlay District on the northeast side of Hatchery Road (County Road 154), north of Dover.

RPC will make a recommendation on all of these applications at its business meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12. No testimony is taken at this meeting. Then, the Levy Court will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, to render a final decision.
