For the second year in a row, the Shoreline Garden Railroad Club has their “Trains and Planes” model train layout on display at the Air Mobility Command Museum.

The G-gauge model train display, which will be on display starting Nov. 22 and ending Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, covers a good portion of the museum’s floor space in front of the C-47A and other planes inside the hangar.

Three sets of tracks will be running the G-gauge trains, which are engines and cars about the length of an adult forearm and weigh upwards of 30 pounds. Normally found on display outdoors because of the size of the cars and engines but AMC Museum hangar is large enough to accommodate this size display.
