In the spirit of Halloween, three sobriety checkpoints will be manned by police this weekend in Newark, Rehoboth and Wilmington.

Last weekend, 19 people were arrested in Delaware at the checkpoints for driving under the influence, said Alison Kirk, a spokeswoman for the Office of Highway Safety. Police also made 18 drug arrests and gave out 11 seat belt citations.

So far this year, there have been 208 DUI arrests under the Checkpoint Strikeforce campaign.
