This weekend the sounds, smells and sports of Italy will entice guests at the Second Annual Bocce Tournament & Italian Festival at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino. The free event runs Saturday and Sunday.

The second annual Bocce Tournament & Italian Festival takes hold at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino this weekend. Here's what guests can look forward to.

1 High rollers
Players will find more than a roulette wheel rolling through Dover Downs Hotel & Casino this weekend. About 13 bocce teams from the region will face off from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Sunday, which is when awards will be presented. Winners will receive $2,000, with $800 and $400 going to the second- and third-place teams, respectively.

2 Cooking ... and eating
Take your appetites to the festival. Not only is the food abundant, but there are wine seminars as well. For cooks, demonstrations include how to make Italian delicacies. And for those who just like the eating, not the cooking, there’s a spaghetti eating contest with a $100 purse.

3 Sly and Frank
The Italian Stallion’s doppelganger, Mike “Sly Stallone” Kunda, will mingle with guests with Tom Pizzi's Parade of Stars at 12:15 p.m. Saturday. Also bringing celebrity flair to the event is Sean Reilly with his tribute to Frank Sinatra at 12:45 and 4:15 p.m. Saturday.
