EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
1 Tug of war
Cheer on Harrington’s first responders at the tug of war, which will be at the Harrington Volunteer Fire Company. The only catch is that you have to choose which agency to side with; the contest is between the fire department and Harrington Police Department.

2 Cars, tractors and trains
Gearheads will have a lot to see Saturday, with a train show at the fire station, the First State Antique Tractor Club’s tractor show on Commerce Street, and the Lower Delaware Mustang Club car show in the M&T Bank parking lot.

3 Kids corner
Live music on the main stage, a reptile and amphibian show, and performance by the Nanticoke American dancers will delight all ages. Kids, however, get their own corner of fun on Railroad Avenue, behind the Historical Society and Museum. The kids’ area includes a rock wall, moon bounce, face painting and games. They can also try to drench their teachers and coaches at the dunking booth on Fleming Street.

WHY YOU SHOULD GO
The 32nd Harrington Heritage Day is an inexpensive way to get the whole family out of the house, mingle with other community members and support the Parks & Recreation Department.
