The annual Youth Aviation Achievement Award will be made to the young man or woman who has distinguished himself or herself in aviation training, career development or participation in aviation community activities.


The annual Youth Aviation Achievement Award will be made to the young man or woman who has distinguished himself or herself in aviation training, career development or participation in aviation community activities.

Delaware youths ages 15 through 21 are eligible.  Non-residents engaged in training and career programs in Delaware are also eligible.

The recognition will be conferred at the DAHF annual awards banquet, this year on Sept. 24.  Selection will be determined by representatives of five major aviation organizations in the First State. The panel is chaired by Col. (Ret.), Delaware Air National Guard, Ron Mehan.

The Hall of Fame invites written nominations from the public.  Nominations should not exceed two single-spaced pages.  Supporting documents are welcome.  Nominations, postmarked no later than June 1, should be sent to:
