The latest artist in the Delaware State Fair's 2011 Wilmington Trust Grandstand Concert Series is Ke$ha with special guest Spank Rock. The concert is set for Tuesday, July 26.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 15, at www.DelawareStateFair.com. Tickets for track and stadium are $50. Tickets for grandstand and clubhouse seats are $45. Track seating is general admission with chairs. All other seating sections are reserved seating.
Ke$ha began her music career young, growing up in music studios with her singer/songwriter mother. Her mother always encouraged her to sing and write her own songs. At 17, Ke$ha dropped out of school and made her way to Los Angeles to pursue her music career. Ke$ha then met Dr Luke who has worked with artists including Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, and Flo Rida. Ke$ha’s gained exposure by being featured on Flo Rida’s single “Right Round." Her first number one single “Tik Tok," debuted in late 2009 followed by her first album "Animal" in January of the following year. In November 2010. Ke$ha released a mini-LP "Cannibal" which features her latest songs “We R Who We R” and “Blow." In March 2011, Ke$ha released her first re-mix album, "IAm the Dance Commander & I Command You to Dance."
