  • An investigation by the Delaware Child Predator Task Force has resulted in the arrest of a Milford man on child pornography charges.
Eric R. Aldrich, 20, was arrested Thursday, March 31 on multiple counts of dealing in child pornography following the execution of a search warrant at his residence by Task Force personnel along with Delaware State Police Troops #4 and Troop #7, Delaware Department of Justice spokesman Jason Miller said.
The undercover online investigation into the distribution of child pornography was initiated after a referral from the Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, he said. When the search warrant was executed at 2 E. Yorktown Road, Milford, detectives seized multiple computers and other digital media. An initial forensic analysis revealed multiple images of child pornography.
Aldrich was taken to Troop #4 where he was arrested on 27 counts of dealing in child pornography. Following his arrest, he was arraigned at JP Court #2 and was committed to Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of $270,000 secured bail.
“The Internet doesn’t respect state lines, and neither do predators who collect and distribute child pornography,”  Attorney General Beau Biden said. “Investigations like this are exactly why we formed the Child Predator Task Force, to coordinate every tool necessary to protect our kids.”
