Felton police arrested a local man Feb. 18 after he allegedly fired a shot through the floor of his apartment.

Police responding to a report of a fight in progress said Cameron I. Williams, 22, of Felton, fired a shot in his apartment, which penetrated the floor and the cieling of the apartment below, where five people were sitting and watching television.

Williams allegedly told officers he had several friends over, but he could not provide any names.

Williams was charged with five counts of reckless endangering, endangering the welfare of a child, and several  drug posession offenses. He was committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on
a $14,000 secured bond pending a later hearing in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas.
