The marketing staff at the Delaware Department of Agriculture is currently finalizing the latest issue of the “Delaware Farm Market Directory and Agricultural Tourism Guide.”

This popular free guide is posted on the DDA website (www.dda.delaware.gov) and is issued throughout the state at festivals, the state fair, and various outlets including public libraries and chambers of commerce. The guide lists, by county and alphabetically, all farmers’ markets, on-the-farm markets, U-Pick operations, organic growers, Community Supported Agriculture programs, creameries, Christmas tree growers, public equine riding stables, and harness and thoroughbred racing tracks.

The 2011 edition of the guide also will feature a fold out produce availability chart for the First State, as well as a detailed map pinpointing the locations of all participants.
