Theater goers have a lot to choose from in coming weeks, including an evening of one-act plays at DSU and "The Music Man" by Polytech at the Schwartz Center for the Arts.


The next few weeks will see theaters full of local, regional and school productions. Most shows have tickets on sale ahead of time, so reserve seats early.

THURSDAY, FEB. 24 — FRIDAY, FEB. 25
"Soul Gone Home" and "Wine in the Wilderness," 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, and Friday, Feb. 25, at Delaware State University's Education and Humanities Theatre. An evening of one-act plays star Delaware State University students and community members. "Soul Gone Home" by Longston Hughes deals with a relationship between a mother and a son as explored by the two of them posthumously. "Wine in the Wilderness" by Alice Childress deals with teh perceived images of African American women against the backdrop of the 1960s riots in Harlem.
