SAINT THOMAS MORE PREPARATORY

The Saint Thomas More boys basketball team lost the only game it played last week to Delaware Military Academy, 53-49, Feb. 15, despite getting a 30-point effort from senior Tyler Simpkiss. The Ravens will bring their season to a close at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, vs. Conrad School.
Record: 12-5, 7-3
The Saint Thomas More girls basketball team picked up an in-conference win last week when it beat Delaware Military Academy, 58-56, Feb. 15. Senior Liz Freud led the team with 16 points while teammate Christine Eliassen, a junior, scored 16 for the Ravens, who next play at 2:15 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at St. Andrew’s School.
CAMPUS COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL
Record: 13-5, 6-2
The Campus Community High boys basketball team fell in its lone game last week to Tower Hill, 63-56, Feb. 15. Three Cougars scored in double figures in the loss, including junior Aaron Marvel, 13 points, senior McGregor Bernadin, 11 points, and freshman Zhyhee Harmon, 10 points. Campus’ regular season will end with a game at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, vs. Wilmington Christian School, held at William Henry Middle School.
