The EDiS Company will award a $1,000 Generation III Scholarship to one student who is interested in studying architecture, engineering or business.


The EDiS Company will award a $1,000 Generation III Scholarship to one student who is interested in studying architecture, engineering or business. The scholarship may be used to pursue an associate’s or bachelor’s degree at the University of Delaware, Delaware State University, Delaware Technical & Community College, Goldey Beacom College or Wesley College, or Lincoln University in Pennsylvania.

Academic achievement, financial need and field of study will be considered in selecting the recipient. The scholarship is renewable for students who maintain a 2.5 or greater grade point average. EDiS employees and their family members are not eligible.

EDiS will announce the recipient of the Generation III Scholarship on May 6. In 1998, EDiS’ leadership established the Generation III Scholarship Fund at the Delaware Community Foundation as a way of giving thanks to the third generation of DiSabatinos for their foresight and dedication to the company. Since the scholarship’s inception, EDiS has awarded scholarships to 18 college students.
