Two people are under arrest in connection with burglaries at four locations across Dover between Dec. 14 and 19, including three churches.


Two people are under arrest in connection with burglaries at four locations across Dover between Dec. 14 and 19, including three churches.

Lamarr Trower, 26, of the 700 block of River Road, Dover, and Shenita Murray, 18, of the 400 block of E. Water St., Dover, were picked up by officers who saw them fleeing from the scene of a Dec. 19 burglary at Battery Warehouse, located at 324 Martin St, said Capt. Tim Stump.

The two were both charged with that crime, but Trower also was charged with burglaries at Pentacostal Family Church, 1028 S. Dupont Highway, In His Ministry Church, 614 S. Dupont Highway, and  Wesley United Methodist Church, 209 S. State St.

Trower was committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of a $9,000 secured bond. Murray was released on a $4,500 unsecured bond.
