The Delaware Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators will once again offer Financial Aid Nights, a statewide program beginning in December, and designed to provide college-bound students and their parents with valuable information and free assistance in applying for financial aid.


The Delaware Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators will once again offer Financial Aid Nights, a statewide program beginning in December, and designed to provide college-bound students and their parents with valuable information and free assistance in applying for financial aid.

In these sessions, students and parents will learn about applying for both need-based and merit-based aid. Federal, state and institutional programs — including grants, scholarships, work-study and loans — will be discussed. Financial aid representatives will also talk about filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, explain how colleges determine financial need and explain the role of the college financial aid office.

Meetings will be held at 7 p.m. on the following dates: Tuesday, Dec. 7, in the auditorium of Polytech High School; Wednesday, Dec. 15, in the school cafeteria of St. Marks High School; Wednesday, Jan. 12, in the Lecture Recital Hall of Caesar Rodney High School; Wednesday, Jan. 12, in the auditorium of Middletown High School; Thursday, Jan. 13, in the auditorium of William Penn High School; Monday, Jan. 24, in the Arts & Science Building of Delaware Technical & Owens Campus; Tuesday, Feb. 8, in the Arts & Science Building of Delaware Technical & Owens Campus; and 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, in the Arts & Science Building of Delaware Technical & Owens Campus.
