The Regional Planning Commission will receive public testimony on the following applications at its public hearings 7 p.m. at Thursday, Dec. 2. No testimony is taken at this meeting. With the exception of the subdivision and agricultural preservation applications, the Levy Court will hold a public hearing at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, to render a final decision on the remaining applications.

The Regional Planning Commission will receive public testimony on the following applications at its public hearing and business meetings:

Tidewater Utilities Inc. requests a conditional use with site plan approval of a temporary water treatment facility located inside the Growth Zone Overlay District on the southeast side of Fallkirk Court, west of Frederica.
  W. Vane and Mary Ellen Masten request approval of creation of an Agricultural Preservation District located outside the Growth Zone Overlay District on the northeasterly side of Seven Hickories Road, southeast of Kenton.
  Bush Farms, LLC requests preliminary plan approval of a 157-unit residential subdivision (planned unit development) located inside the Growth Zone Overlay District on the east side of Barney Jenkins Road, southeast of Woodside.

In addition, the Regional Planning Commission will take action on the following applications at its Business Meeting:

Roy Kenton requests subdivision waiver approval from Kent County Code, Chapter 187, section§187-78 (B) (2), the requirement that no buildings, structures or paved surfaces, except stairs and ramps, fences, open decks, patios or docks with a combined area of 200 square feet or less, shall be constructed nearer than one hundred feet to the shoreline on the east side of Hollering Hill Road, west of Woodside.
  P. Lloyd & David Sheats request subdivision waiver approval from Kent County Code chapter 187, section §187-57 (B), the requirement that land located within the one-hundred-year floodplain shall remain as unsubdivided open space or natural area, to allow for a future six-lot minor subdivision on the southeast side of Halltown Road, east of Marydel.
