Delaware Capitol Police arrested two Dover men last week at the Probation and Parole Office on Maple Parkway.

On Nov. 15, Gumerindo J. Gomez, 27, was arrested for possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited. According to police Gomez brought a knife with a blade that was longer than the legal limit to the Probation and Parole Office. With further investigation, police learned Gomez was also a person prohibited from the possession of any deadly weapons. Gomez was released on a $5,000 secured bond.

On Nov. 17, Capitol Police arrested James R. Adams, 34, for charges pending against him in Texas. Adams was at the Probation and Parole Office in Dover and a criminal history check revealed he was wanted for possession of cocaine, police said. Adams was committed to the Department of Correction in default of an $18,000 bond.
