The No. 5 Caesar Rodney High School football team met a familiar foe in No. 4 Salesianum School in the first round of the playoffs, losing the game, 34-7, Nov. 19.

The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association Division I Football Tournament kicked off Nov. 19 with two familiar foes renewing their rivalry.

No. 4 Salesianum School played host to No. 5 Caesar Rodney High School on Nov. 19 at Baynard Stadium, getting the best of the Riders, 34-7, and advancing to the second round.

CR's lone score came from senior quarterback Seth McFall, who rushed for a 1-yard touchdown in the second quarter, but it was the Sals' strong rushing attack and agressive pass rush that dominated the day and sent the Riders home.
