According to Lt. Robert Scott, the first man, Craig Thompson, 44, was arrested after police allegedly found 3 grams of crack cocaine on his person when he showed up for a scheduled Probation and Parole appointment.


Dover police arrested two men Nov. 16 on drug dealing charges.

According to Lt. Robert Scott, the first man, Craig Thompson, 44, was arrested after police allegedly found 3 grams of crack cocaine on his person when he showed up for a scheduled Probation and Parole appointment.

A subsequent search of Thompson's residence in the unit block of North New Street discovered additional cocaine, digital scales and numerous prescription pills that were obtained illegally, Scott said.

In addition, police arrested Vanell Waters, 40, who they say is also connected to the residence. 

Thompson was charged with possession with intent deliver among other charges and was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on a $14,500 secured bond. Waters faces simiar charges and was released after posting an $8,500 unsecured bond.
