Harry Potter fans learn about plants, potions at DSU
Children 7 to 12 and their parents are invited to come to Delaware State University in their wizarding robes or muggle outfits for a fun evening of magical activities. Children can explore the world of Harry Potter’s Hogwarts through the Herbarium’s mystical collection of books and plants. They can take part in a variety of wizarding craft activities on herbology, herbals, bizarre plants, potions and oils, and/or gothic gardening.
The event is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday Oct. 29, at the Claude E. Phillips Herbarium on the campus of DSU. The Herbarium is part of the Department of Agriculture & Natural Resources on campus and is located in the U.S. Washington Cooperative Extension Center.
This event is free, but advance registration is required and limited to the first 20 children (and one parent).
