State Police have arrested Jonathan L. Gerres, 27, of Magnolia, in connection with three Dover-area burglaries.

Two of the incidents occurred Needle Lane Oct. 14 and the third occurred Oct. 18 on and one on E. Brady Drive. During the burglaries jewelry, electronic equipment and video game systems were taken.

Master Cpl. Bruce Harris said police learned during the course of their investigation that a gray Buick was seen fleeing from Needle Lane on the night of the burglary. Witnesses were able to obtain a partial vehicle registration and suspect description, which assisted Troopers in identifying Gerres.

On Oct. 21 detectives executed a search warrant for Gerres’ residence of and located items allegedly linking him to the crimes.

Gerres has been charged with burglary, theft, and criminal mischief. He is being held at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on a $17,050 secured bond.
