“The Student Government Association is proud to bring the Delaware Democratic nominee for US Senate, Chris Coons, to campus,” said Student Government Association President Tanner Polce. “This is another wonderful learning experience for students, faculty, and the general public. Wesley College sets a pristine location for such an event.”

Coons is a New Castle, Delaware, county executive. Prior to serving, he worked as an attorney in Delaware. He is running for Delaware’s Democratic Senatorial seat. Coons and O’Donnell have received a lot of attention in the past weeks over heated debates and several major differences in opinion.
