The Delaware Trial Handbook, written by David L. Finger and Louis J. Finger, now is available for free online at www.delawgroup.com/dth.

The handbook, a treatise on trial practice and procedure in Delaware state courts, was originally published in 1994, with annual updates through 1998. The 500-page book covers all aspects of trials including selecting juries, types of evidence, rules of evidence, opening and closing arguments, examining witnesses, trial motions, measures of damages, jury instructions, verdicts and more, heavily annotated with citations to Delaware judicial rulings.

After another company acquired the publisher, the new owner decided to cease publication, and the copyright was transferred to David L. Finger after Louis J. Finger passed away in 2008. David Finger has updated the book to reflect changes in the law, and made it available on his law firm’s website.
