Harrington officers have arrested Kaitlyn R. Brown, 20, on charges of being a fugitive from Kent County Court of Common Pleas and Kent County Superior Court.
Police have arrested a Harrington fugitive after she was spotted walking down a local street.
Kaitlyn R. Brown, 20, was arrested Sept. 15, said Harrington Police Department spokesman Sgt. Earl K. Brode. An officer on patrol saw Brown walking down Clark Street and took her into custody after a computer check showed she was wanted on several outstanding bench warrants.
Brown was wanted out of the Kent County Court of Common Pleas for failure to pay a DUI fine, failure too appear on a shoplifting charge and disorderly conduct, Brode said. She also was wanted out of Kent County Superior Court for failing to appear for a case review for obtaining a controlled substance.
Brown was charged with being a local fugitive and after arraignment at Justice of the Peace Court No. 7, Dover, was jailed at the Sussex Correctional Institute, Georgetown, on a $2,540 cash bond and $750 secured bond.
