DelDOT will hold a Senior Driver Day Saturday, Oct. 2.

The Department of Transportation will hold a Senior Driver Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 2, at the DMV facility at 303 Transportation Circle, Dover.

Seniors and their families are invited to come to the event and discover what Delaware is doing to assist seniors in their cars and on the road.

DMV has partnered with several agencies, bringing valuable events and information to one location. Senior Day events include information from the Senior Driver Task Force Partners, and the AARP CarFit program, which offers a team of trained technicians working with each participant to ensure they “fit” their vehicle properly for maximum comfort and safety. The DMV also will officially launch Delaware’s Senior Driver website, offering numerous resources, from driving tips for seniors to reaction time games to general health information.
