A list of all the candidate who have filed for election to Kent County offices, including Levy Court, Sheriff and Recorder of Deeds

The field of candidates for Kent County elected office is set and includes challengers in all races.

Three incumbent Levy Court commissioners are running for reelection, but former Levy Court members Terry Pepper and W.G. Edmanson II are hoping to take the at-large seat held by retiring Commissioner Richard Ennis.

Former Dover Mayor Stephen Speed is looking to return to an elected post by unseating Second District Commissioner Brad Eaby.

Two county row offices also will be on the ballot. Incumbents Sheriff Jim Higdon and Recorder of Deeds Betty Lou McKenna both are running to retain their seats.
