Julia Defelice, 19, was struck by a minivan at 4:19 p.m. at the intersection of North Governors Avenue and William Street, and was pronounced dead at the scene, said police spokesman Lt. Daniel McKeown.


Dover Police have released the name of the victim of a July 16 fatal crash.

Julia Defelice, 19, was struck by a minivan at 4:19 p.m. at the intersection of North Governors Avenue and William Street, and was pronounced dead at the scene, said police spokesman Lt. Daniel McKeown.

Defelice was a student at Wesley College. Her hometown was Tinton Falls, N.J., McKeown said.

No charges have been filed against the minivan’s driver.
