Candidate for Dover mayor and for Second District representatives present their rationale for why they should be elected to serve Dover's citizens.
The city of Dover municipal election will be held Tuesday, April 20. Seats for the mayor’s office and each of the city’s council districts will be up for election.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Voters in the First and Fourth Districts will vote at the Elks Lodge No. 1903, 200 Saulsbury Road.
Second District voters may cast their ballots at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 647 Wyoming Ave..
Voters in the Third District will vote at the Dover Park Recreation Center, 1210 White Oak Road.
Ballots for mayor may be cast at any of the above polling places.
Voting requirements are:Must be a resident of the corporate limits of the city of Dover. Must be 18 years of age or older as of April 20 Properly registered to vote with the state Department of Elections by March 31.
