Two people have been injured in an early morning March 30 shooting in The Hamlet.

Dover Police are investigating the shooting of two people in an apparently unprovoked attack in a Dover subdivision.

A 22-year-old man received injuries to his face and was taken to Christiana Hospital, Newark, for surgery. He was listed in critical but stable condition, Stump said.

The second victim, a 20-year-old woman, was shot in the arm and torso; she was admitted to Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect was described as a tall black man, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
