Three people are pending court dates after their arrest in a Harrington drug bust.
Harrington officers arrested three people, including a Maryland woman, after receiving a call about suspicious activity.
The case began when a witness reported seeing a man, later identified as Robert Kopp, 64, of Harrington, meeting various people for a few minutes in a parking lot and then leaving, said department spokesman Cpl. Keith B. Shyers. On Feb. 26, Kopp was seen walking into the parking lot and getting into a car with a man identified as Dylan Bauer, 20, also of Harrington. Officers took the two into custody after determining Kopp had met Bauer to deliver Oxycodone, Shyers said.
While the two were at the police department the woman, identified as Cynthia L. Ramsey, 37, of Denton, Md., contacted Kopp also to buy some Oxycodone, Shyers said. Officers met Ramsey at the same parking lot and took her into custody.
Kopp was charged with attempted deliver of a schedule II narcotic, possession with intent to deliver a schedule II narcotic, maintaining a vehicle for keeping a controlled substance, conspiracy, possession of a schedule II narcotic and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bauer and Ramsey each were charged with criminal solicitation.
Kopp was arraigned and then released from custody on a $15,000 unsecured bond, while Bauer and Ramsey were released on $2,000 unsecured bond each.
All are pending preliminary hearings in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas.
