The Dover Mart shopping center branch of the WSFS was robbed the afternoon of Feb. 26.


Dover Police are looking for the man who robbed a local bank branch Friday afternoon.

The holdup occurred at 5 p.m. Feb. 26 at the WSFS branch in the Dover Mart shopping center, said police spokesman Lt. Daniel McKeown. A man came up to a teller and handed her a note demanding cash. The teller turned over an undisclosed amount of money before the robber fled, McKeown said.

The robber was described as a white man in his mid 30s, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a dark gray wool hat, black leather coat, tan pants, black wool gloves and prescription eyeglasses.
