Dover Police have made an arrest in connection with the Feb. 22 robbery of a local liquor store.

Dover Police have arrested a man who allegedly held up a local liquor store.

The incident took place at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Driftwood Spirits store at 153 S. Bradford St., said police spokesman Lt. Tim Stump.

The suspect entered the building and grabbed a 30-pack of beer and ran out without paying, Stump said. When confronted by the clerk, Stump said the man pulled a handgun and fled.

A suspect, identified as Brian J. Jolley, 27, of the unit block of South New Street, Dover, was arrested Feb. 24, Stump said.

Jolley was charged with first-degree robbery and resisting arrest, then jailed on a $11,000 secured bond.
