Kenneth Alan "Kenny" Strain, 18, of Camden, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009.
Friends of the late Kenneth Alan “Kenny” Strain, 18, of Camden, may call on the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Friends also may call beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at the First Pilgrim Baptist Church, 6 Miles Lane, Camden, where services will be held at noon.
Mr. Strain died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009.
Born July 26, 1991, in Burlington, N.J., he was the son of Merlin Jr. and Mavis Stallings Strain.
Mr. Strain was a 2009 graduate of Caesar Rodney High School and was a student at Delaware Technical & Community College, where he was studying graphic arts. He enjoyed art and computers.
His maternal grandparents, Janie Mae and Jesse Albert Stallings, and an aunt, Renee Stallings, preceded him in death.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Strain is survived by a sister, a sister, Kimberly Nicole Strain of Camden; a brother, Jonathan Eric Strain of Camden; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Shirley Brown of Largo, Md.; an aunt, Ava Stallings of Dover; and four uncles and an aunt, Anthony Maurice Stallings and Brian Eric Stallings, both of Spotsylvania, Va., Larry and Diane Strain of Lincoln, and David Hardy of Wilmington.
Interment will be in the Barratt’s Chapel Cemetery, near Frederica.
