A Felton man, identified by Delaware State Police as Ronnie Leslie Jr., 51, has been arrested on a fourth DUI charge.
A Felton man has been jailed after his fourth arrest for driving under the influence.
The man, identified as Ronnie Leslie Jr., 51, was taken into custody at 2:45 a.m. Sept. 26, on Route 1 north of Milton, said Delaware State Police spokeswoman Cpl. Jaime Dorsey-Sterner.
A trooper was responding to a call about a disabled vehicle when he approached Leslie’s pickup, which was parked on the roadside, she said. The trooper detected a strong odor of alcohol and conducted a DUI investigation, resulting in Leslie’s arrest, she added.
The trooper’s investigation revealed Leslie had three prior DUI convictions, making this arrest a fourth felony offense, Dorsey-Sterner said.
Leslie was charged with a single count of felony DUI, and jailed at the Sussex Correctional Institute after failing to post a $4,000 secured bond.
