  • Nine arrested in fugitive/parole violators round-up

  • Dover Police and state Probation and Parole officers arrest eight men and one woman during a probation/fugitive roundup June 19.

  •     Dover Police and members of the Department of Correction Probation and Parole unit arrested nine persons during a sweep June 19.

        The raids were made throughout the city of Dover and resulted in a total of 22 charges being leveled against the eight men and one woman.

        According to Dover Police Department spokesman Lt. Tim Stump, those arrested and the charges against them include: Antwane Carson, 24, of the Liberty Court Apartments on  Antwane Carson, 24, of the Liberty Court Apartments on charges of being an out of state fugitive and a probation violation; John Clark, 24, of the unit block of North New Street on charges of possession with intent to deliver percocet, maintaining a dwelling, possession within 1,000 feet of a school, possession within 300 feet of a church, possession of drug paraphernalia, and probation violation; Joshua Fosmire, 24, of the 300 block of Cold Spring Place on a capias from the Kent County Superior Court; Timothy Guy, 42, of the unit block of Stevenson Drive on a capias from the Kent County Superior Court and a probation violation; Trevor Jenkins, 18, of the unit block of Starboard Court on a charge of probation violation; Antonio Snipes, 25, of the unit block of Stevenson Drive on a capias from JP Court No. 7 and a violation of probation; Sharnay Snipes, 22, of the unit block of Stevenson Drive on a capias from Kent County Court of Common Pleas, faulure to comply with a lease agreement, and failure to comply with the terms of a lease; Thomas Wilcox, 31, of the unit block of Lincoln Street on a capias from the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas, a capias from the Kent County Court of Common Pleas and a probation violation; and Marvin Williams, 25, of the 1500 block of North Little Creek Road, on a warrant from Delaware State Police Troop No. 3 for forgery and a violation of probation.

      Bond for Clark was set at $5,800 secured; bond for Carson was set at $5,000 secured. Bond information on the other individuals was not available.
