Mable D. Kemp, 73, of Dover, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2009.
Friends of the late Mable D. Kemp, 73, of Dover, may call on the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday. March 1.
Mrs. Kemp died Thursday, Feb 18, 2009, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover.
Born in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Frank Donze and Mable LaValley Donze.
Mrs. Kemp had worked as a title clerk at the state Division of Motor Vehicles, retiring due to poor health.
She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed the time spent with her family. She was a collector of Depression glass and enjoyed NASCAR and playing bingo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank D. Kemp Sr.; a son, Frank D. Kemp Jr.; two brothers, Robert Donze Sr. and Howard Donze Sr.
Mrs. Kemp is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Kemp and Lester Troyer of Greenwood; a daughter-in-law, Patricia A. Kemp of Greenwood; two sons and their wives, Ricky and Sherry Lynn Kemp of Magnolia and Jeffrey Sr. and Diane Kemp of Hartly; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Louse and Leon Smith of Houston and Leona Cain of Houston; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, F.J. Donze of Magnolia, Donald and Lucy Donze of Cherry Hill, N.J., and Benny Jr. and Neyleen Lonski of Magnolia; 11 grandchildren, Les Troyer, Kevin Troyer, Jason Troyer, Dawn McGill, Crystal Ford, Jennifer Cazzell, Marie Kemp, Frank Kemp III, Jeffrey Kemp Jr., Tim Simpkins and Amber Haddrick; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
