    Lynn Ellen Thompson Bliler, 52, of Dover, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009.

    Born Sept. 5, 1956, in Wilmington, she was the daughter of the late William O. Thompson and Pauline Reed Thompson.

    Mrs. Bliler attended Goldey-Beacom College and Delaware Technical & Community College, where she majored in business. She had been the comptroller at Townsend Brothers Chevrolet for the past 14 years.

    She had a passion for gardening and reading, and especially enjoyed coaching field hockey and supporting her daughter in playing softball.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ginger Lynn Bliler; and by a sister, Kay Margaret Thompson.

    Mrs. Bliler is survived by Gregory Bliler, her husband of 19 years; three daughters, Holly Thompson and her companion, Justin Strickland, and Beth and Heather Bliler, all of Dover; two brothers and a sister-in-law, William O. Thompson Jr. and his partner, Roberta Merrill, of Newark and Thomas N. and Roberta Thompson of Rehoboth Beach; two sisters and their husbands, Anne P. and John Kabino of Rehoboth Beach, and Hope T. and A.J. Mitchell of Lewes; a brother-in-law, Jeff Bliler of Frederica; two sisters-in-law, Brenda Williams of Smyrna and Cathy Bliler of Newark; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

    Interment was in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, west of Dover.

    Arrangements were by the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, Dover.
