David Joseph Wilson, 23, of Magnolia, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008.

    Friends of the late David Joseph Wilson, 23, of Magnolia, may call on the family at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, where services will be held at 2 p.m.

    Mr. Wilson died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008.

    Born March 30, 1985, in Trenton, N.J., he was the son of Mary Jean Wilson.

    Mr. Wilson graduated from Dover High School in 2006. He was involved in the Easter Seals Day Program in Dover. He enjoyed going to Camp Lenape in Felton, bowling, pool time, car rides, music, and baseball; he had played on a baseball team. He loved his toys, especially his favorite, Tickle Me Elmo. He was a perfect gentleman when meeting new people.

    He was preceded in death by an aunt, Linda Wilson; and his foster father, Gary Stackhouse.

    In addition to his mother, Mr. Wilson is survived by a sister, Desiree Wrobleski of Magnolia; an aunt, Helen Gates of Magnolia; a stepbrother, Jayden Royal of Felton; two stepmothers, Rosemary Davis of Felton and Belinda Ferrer of Magnolia; an uncle, Charles Wilson of Las Vegas, Nev.; his foster family, Helen Stackhouse, Michele and Andrew Massassarilli and their family and Angela and Wayne Foraker and their family; and numerous cousins.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Wilson’s name may be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904, to help defray funeral costs.
