The Dover Police Department in partnership with the Central Delaware branch of the NAACP will hold a series of community outreach initiatives in the downtown Dover area.Weather permitting, the first will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 12. Police will close off the first block of South New Street at Loockerman and Reed Streets to take part in a series of basketball games with area youth.
