  • Dover Police have confirmed the identities of the two persons killed in an early morning accident on Oct. 26.
The deceased were identified as Renaldo D. Riddick, 33, of Dover and Chelsea Lyn Coker, 22, of Cheswold, said police spokesman Cpl. Mark Hoffman.
Hoffman said the accident occurred at approximately 6 a.m. on McKee Road, north of College Road, when Riddick's Lincoln Town Car crossed into the opposite lane, striking Coker's Hyundai Santa Fe.
Both were declared dead at the scene.
Speed and driver inattention appeared to be factors in the crash, Hoffman said, adding that as of Oct. 30, police are continuing their investigation.

Two persons died Saturday morning in a two-car accident on McKee Road, north of College Road.
Dover Police were called to the scene at 6 a.m. Oct. 26, said police spokesman Cpl. Mark Hoffman. Two vehicles, a Lincoln Town Car and a Hyundai Santa Fe, were involved in a head-on collision that was the result of one of the vehicles crossing over into the opposite lane.
Both drivers died at the scene, Hoffman said.
Speed and inattention appear to be factors in the crash, he added.
The investigation still is ongoing, Hoffman said.
The roadway was closed for approximately four hours, but since has re-opened.
The names of the victims will be released once next of kin have been notified, Hoffman said.
